Company supplier of fighter jets the United States, Lockheed Martin, revealed recently suffered a severe cyber attacks that target the computer network system.
Lockheed said that its security team had detected the threat and ensure that no single program that has been hacked. The Pentagon itself said they are working to track the attacks.
Lieutenant Colonel April Cunningham, spokesman bucara U.S. defense department said the impact of this attack 'very small and we believe there is no adverse impact, "he told the BBC.
Lockheed said in a statement that the attacks that occurred on May 21, it happened suddenly, and they have taken retaliatory measures.
As a result, the company added, "Our system is safe, not a single customer data, programs, or personal property of workers who successfully hacked."
However, Lockheed admitted, they still require several days to restore workers' access to its computer network.
Meanwhile, British newspaper The Telegraph suggests the notion that the attack could have originated from China or Russia who long been a rival of the U.S. in an arms race.
Lockheed Martin itself is the company that makes U.S. fighter jets like the F-16, F-22, and F-35. In addition, there are many more weapons and vehicle-to-date war equipment contractor who built the U.S. military.
