Bike Mania. So nostalgic, so awesome. If you were a fan of the old Trials-Bike Pro on miniclip.com then you should download this game right now. I mean, right now. Stop reading, click on an ad before you go, pick up your phone and download it from the Marketplace this second. Bike Mania takes me back to those old days when takeaway gaming was all about sites online like Miniclip and Teagames. However that paradigm has shifted to our phones and I welcome Bike Mania into the fold.
Bike Mania is a trials bike based game, the idea is to get your motorcycles over the top of the obstacles without falling over through a fine line of balance, throttle and brakes. To overcome all of the obstacles in this game you will have to learn how to properly execute the use of all three of these tools. They’re there for a reason, so, use them.
As you progress through the game several different environments present themselves. Construction sites, polar and simply mountainous regions. All of which have their own different styles of obstacles. Construction zones offer barricades, cones, barrels and so forth. Likewise with the mountain and polar regions.
Another nice little bit of flair for this game is that you can race your own ghost in a time trial. To get the highest ranking available you have to beat the level within a certain amount of time and the ghost really helps to sets a precedent that easy to base your skills from.
Bike Mania is a game I would recommend to just about anyone. It’s truly enjoyable. The only problem that I have with it is that the last level appears to me to be unbeatable. No matter how much I try I simply cannot beat level 60 on this game. My personal skills aside, I’m ok with it because that just gives me an excuse to go through all of the levels again.
